Following the true middle school concept, core teams provide instructional support appropriate to each grade level. All students have physical education or health one period daily. The day is rounded out by various elective courses.

Sixth Grade

• Core team classes: Mathematics 6, Language Arts 6, Science 6, Reading 6, and History 6

• Electives: An Exploratory program, Beginning Band

Seventh Grade

• Core team classes: English 7, Mathematics 7 or Prealgebra, Life Science 7, History 7, Keyboarding Applications

• Electives: Intermediate Band, Exploratory

Eighth Grade

• Core team classes: English 8, Prealgebra or Algebra I, Physical Science 8, History 8

• Electives: Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, Art, Independent Living, Technology Systems, Spanish I, Latin I, French I, Chorus I, Drama
