This year, our NJHS members came together to support Christmas Mother, an incredible mission dedicated to bringing joy to local families, elders, and foster children during the holiday season. 💛🎄
They collected socks and books—two small comforts that can make a big difference. We hope these gifts bring warmth, comfort, and smiles to those who receive them.

Colonial Heights Middle School students and staff showed their generosity and school spirit during this year’s NJHS Turkey Feather Fundraiser! Throughout the contest, everyone had the chance to purchase turkey feathers for their favorite teachers and staff members—with every feather supporting a great cause.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and kindness of our school community, we raised an amazing $530 to support The Ronald McDonald House in Richmond!
The feathers piled up, and when the final counts were in, our top two winners proudly strutted and danced through the cafeteria during all student lunches, showing off their newfound turkey glory and bringing plenty of smiles and laughter.
The top turkeys were Officer Kelley in first place, Mrs. Roddenberry in second place, Mr. Flohre in third place, Assistant Principal, Mrs. Edwards in fourth place, and Mr. Easter in fifth place.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported this fun event. And a special shout-out to the National Junior Honor Society for hosting a fundraiser that makes a difference in our community. Together, we proved that CHMS has both heart and humor!

The Colonial Heights Middle School 7/8 combined band earned 1st place in their class at Music in the Parks! The students played amazing and then had a great day at Busch Gardens!!🎉🎉

After careful consideration and much deliberation, the Colonial Heights School Board is excited to announce the new CHPS Superintendent on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Interested community members are invited to attend a special board meeting at 4:00 p.m. in the Colonial Heights High School Media Center to hear this exciting news. A meet and greet reception will follow the meeting.
This special meeting will also be recorded for those that are not able to attend.
